La banda inglesa The Libertines ha editado un nuevo trabajo discográfico que recopila lo mejor de su corta pero exitosa carrera, el álbum se llama «Time for heroes: the best of the Libertines» y saldrá al mercado a finales del proximo mes.
El cuarteto es originario de la ciudad de Londres y está integrado por Carl Barât (voz y guitarra), Pete Doherty (voz y guitarra), John Hassall (bajo) y Gary Powell (batería). Se formó en el año 2001.
En la portada de este nuevo disco de The Libertines se puede apreciar a los integrantes de la banda vestidos con chaquetas color rojo al estilo de los Beatles.
